Overcoming Procrastination
What is procrastination? Webster's Dictionary defines procrastinate; to put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness. Author, Edward Young writes, "Procrastination is the thief of time."
Procrastination can kill our dreams and stray us from our purpose in life.
Why do we procrastinate? Most of us have a problem staying focused. We live in a world were life comes at us at a hundred miles per hour and it is difficult to stay focused on our dreams. Maybe we have a problem with time-management. We lose track of time and we put less important tasks in front of those that will give us the quality of life we truly deserve. Most of the time, we are scared of success; better put we have a fear of failure. We are scared to set goals. We are scared of success. We fear making big decisions, so we procrastinate and ultimately never make the decision to move forward in life. We stay stuck in one place, even though we may be miserable because of fear.
Now comes the question of overcoming procrastination. How do you go about overcoming procrastination? Where do you start and how do you move yourself in the direction of a better life?

Overcoming procrastination can lead you on a path of great Happiness in your life. Overcoming procrastination will make you feel good about yourself and once you feel good about yourself, things will start to manifest in your life. Like the Law of Attraction states, "what ever you give your attention, energy and focus to, will manifest in your life." What is getting you attention and what is NOT? Constantly putting things off will result in a habit and bad habits are hard to break.
Overcoming procrastination is more than just breaking a bad habit. You must get to the root of the problem which is inside yourself. Once you determine the cause, you can develop skills to consistently produce the results you want. You may have to push the re-set button several times along the way to success. But, overcoming procrastination can be accomplished! With a series of steps set in motion by careful planning and powerful goal setting you can BE, DO, and HAVE anything you want! A lack of consistent activity in your life is what has been holding you back. 
Overcoming procrastination is all about believing you can achieve anything you want. Start believing in yourself! Look for opportunities in everything that comes your way, not obstacles. Start looking at life as an opportunity for greatness. Always remember: The possibilities for the future are not determined by the conditions of the Present. You can do anything you set your mind to do.
